Local partnerships and activities for the 2010 Annual Forum

 

"The UKPHA in the South West - a joined up approach"

The UKPHA were delighted to be back in the South West after several years touring the rest of the UK! There was a very enthusiastic and positive response to the UKPHA Forum's visit to the South West by local Public Health professionals and organisations who were keen to engage with our members and delegates. 

The UKPHA Forum moves around the country every year and always aims to get truly involved in the local community. This year in Bournemouth was no exception.

• Tai Chi and Nordic walking along the beach 
• A bike ride along the coast and free cycle hire to explore the South West at your own leisure.
• Visits two award-winning projects, Boscombe Spa Village and LV= Streetwise, which were offered to delegates as offsite visits.
